Science Camps

June 7-July 11. The KU Math and Science Center Summer Institute is designed to simulate the college experience by having students take academic courses in math, science, foreign language, literature and composition while residing in a residence hall on the KU campus. To qualify, students must apply for admissions and be a potential first-generation college student and/or meet the low-income guidelines defined by the U.S. Department of Education.

A crime has been committed at the KU Natural History Museum. Join our investigation and learn forensic science techniques such as footprint and fingerprint identification, and hair and DNA analysis to help solve the mystery. For ages 8-11.

Join us at the KU Natural History Museum for a dynamic, fast-paced science adventure. Campers will participate in a range of engaging activities from across the sciences both in the museum and at outdoor campus locations. It's an extravaganza of hands-on science investigations including GPS navigation, insects, molecules and more! For ages 8-11.

Become a field geologist for a day at the KU Natural History Museum. Learn about rocks, minerals and fossils while exploring the geology of Kansas. For ages 8-11.
